Google Chrome Canary 13.0.767.1 an overview

Chrome Canary is a frequently-updated experimental build of Google's flagship browser, that gets the latest changes before any other version.

Sounds good? Well, maybe, but there are problems. In particular, Canary's rapid updates come at the expense of manual testing, and so you may be trying out some new tweak that no human being has ever checked to confirm that it works. Sometimes this may work well, but even Google describe Canary as "a highly unstable browser that will often break completely", so there are clearly no guarantees.

Still, you can install Canary to run alongside the regular version of Chrome, so there's no need to choose between the two. You can easily run Canary for general, ad-hoc browsing, turning to Chrome when you need to carry out important tasks, like online banking, or if Canary just seems too unreliable.

There's no need to worry about manual updates, either, as Canary will automatically update itself daily (well, more or less). And so if you're a Chrome fan, or would just like to see where the browser is going next, then the program could well be worth a look.

Sony Ericsson Xperia Play is fat, a bit heavy and bulgy to hold. It features the smae signature Xperia body with curved buttons at the bottom – but this device has an exception. It has has the sliding PlayStation controls, that is what makes this device thick in size.

Xperia Play is flat from the front, but all curvy at the bottom. On the front sideof the phone, you can see sensors at the top, along with the Sony Ericsson logo, the speaker and a secondary camera for video calls. You can make free video calls over WiFi using Fring or Tango, or you will soon be able to make free video and voice calls from Google Talk with the latest Google Talk update in Android 2.3.4 software update, only available for the Nexus S at the moment.
Sony Ericsson Xperia Play: Display

Sony Ericsson Xperia Play comes with a 4.0-inch LED-backlit LCD display, which to me, seems the same as the LCD on the Xperia X10. It was not much of a stand-out, and we still think this phone could have had the BRAVIA mobile engine, like in the Xperia Arc.isplay screen performance in direct sunlight was pretty bad as compared to the Mobile BRAVIA display technology in Xperia Arc and the Super AMOLED display on the Nexus S or Galaxy S (full review).

Google announced Chromebooks, and unveiled the Samsung Chromebook and the Acer Chromebook at the second day of Google I/O 2011 earlier today.

Along with that, their came a very interesting announcement that Google is working on – the Google Chromebox. This Samsung-built Chromebox will provide the same Chrome OS experience on your desktop, more like Mac Min, but it will have the web-centric Chrome OS for desktops.

No solid details available at the moment, but soon we’ll have something to share as it gets revealed with time. It seems this was just a prototype that Smasung is working on for the Chrome OS for Google to bring the Chrome experience on desktop computers.

Nokia launch of a Windows Mobile Phone in 2012

According to a note published in the Daily News & Analysis, the Finnish mobile phone maker Nokia is expected to launch its first smartphone with Windows Phone in 2012 .

According to a spokesman Nokia , the first phone with the Microsoft operating system would be available “in 12 months from now.”

If so, this contradicts what was said by many of Nokia executives, including CEO Stephen Elop, who said the first Nokia smartphone running the operating system Nokia Microsoft would come before the year end of 2011.

Still, Nokia plans to support Symbian OS for a while longer, and said it will launch about 20 smart phones with this operating system in 2011, but his presentation of the committee of antitrust regulation USA, said plans are to migrate most of its smartphones Phone for Windows platform in two years.

Recently a prototype of Nokia X7 was photographed in Pakistan. The smartphone is designed for music playback and ran the Symbian operating system as they could find people who saw him up close.

Currently Microsoft is the seventh release of Windows Phone, or WP7 , which is a mobile operating system, successor to the Windows Mobile platform. It focuses on the consumer market, unlike the enterprise market of its predecessor.

WP7 , Microsoft offers a new user interface, called “Metro”, including the operating system with other services and tightly controlling the hardware on which it works.
